YAMAHA YZF-R6 2020 - "ENGINEERING" OF KAWASAKI NINJA 636 VILLAGE PROCESS


Entering the 2020 version, Yamaha YZF-R6 is added with unique new colors, retaining the pure R-series design and aerodynamic design from MotoGP racing models.

Yamaha in Europe has announced three new colors for the YZF-R6 2020, including Racing Blue, Raven Black and Vivid Orange. In addition, the difference from the predecessor is that the suspension is now converted to black, no longer yellow as the predecessor.

Similar to the YZF-R1, the R6 uses a concealed compact LED headlight for a more mechanical appearance while still providing brilliant lighting to the driver. The front LED turn indicators are integrated into the mirror for a sleeker look, while the LED rear taillights are extremely compact to fit the narrow tail section.

The new windshield and front glass reduce aerodynamic drag by up to 8%. While integrated turn indicators on the rearview mirror also contribute to the purpose of reducing drag and vibration. The driver's seat narrows by 20 mm at the front, allowing the driver's knee to grip into the fuel tank deeper, forming a close link between the driver and the vehicle.

The Yamaha YZF-R6 2020 still uses USD KYB shock absorbers 43 mm in front, at the back is an adjustable KYB shock absorber. The brake system of YZF-R6 is taken from the elder YZF-R1 with 320 mm front disc brake combined with two-piston pig shackles on each side. Vehicle weight is at 190kg and the fuel tank capacity is 17 liters.

Advanced electronic control system integrated on YZF-R6 version includes: Controlling the process of loading Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-I), Ride-by-Wire scooter system combined with control system Throttle control Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T).

Vehicles with 6 levels of traction control through Traction Control system. In addition, the car is also equipped with quick shift technology (but only applies to the process of gearing), combining anti-lock technology after the gear shift.

Powering the YZF-R6 2020 is a 599cc engine block, 4 cylinders in parallel, liquid-cooled, producing a maximum capacity of 123.7 hp at 14,500 rpm, torque Maximum torque of 65.7 Nm at 10,500 rpm. The engine uses a titanium intake and exhaust valve, along with a bonnet and magnesium motor housing to reduce weight. The exhaust is also made of titanium, while the frame and rear grips are made from aluminum.
